Recommended at 15,000-mile intervals for 1997 and earlier models only

Services performed:

•     All services included in Lubrication Service, plus:
•     Inspect for leaks and determine the condition of all components, lines and hoses on the engine, transmission, axles, level control, and steering, fuel and brake systems
•     Replace spark plugs (if necessary)
•     Inspect air filter elements
•     Remove wheels and rotate tires as necessary and applicable. (Not staggered)
•     Wheel Balance & Road-Force Balance is available if selected.
•     Inspect brake system and adjust parking brake
•     Check all exterior and interior lamps and windshield washer systems
•     Lubricate throttle shafts, door hinges and locks
•     Replace windshield wiper blade/blades
•     Replace air filter
•     Perform a road test

MERCEDES BENZ SERVICE-A DETAIL LIST:

• Inspect and record tread depth, and correct tire pressure.
• Rotate tires (If not staggered)
• Engine oil change and oil filter replacement / Includes MB approved Full Synthetic oil
• Add BG MOA to the new Motul 8100XS Full Synthetic Oil
• Any of the BG services that we provide include a free Lifetime Protection Plan as long as the initial treatment/service is performed before 100,000 miles.
• Lubrication service
• Includes hood hinges, lock cylinders, striker plates, sun roof tracks and top off all fluids.
• Perform battery tests
• Perform complete computer diagnostic scan.
• Cooling system inspection
• Includes antifreeze protection level, hoses and clamps.
• Brake inspection
• Includes check of pad thickness and condition of discs, fluids and lines .
• Function check
• Includes warning lamps, headlights, exterior lights, seat belts, windshield wiper and washer Inspect and lubricate throttle linkage Check and clean air filter Reset service system counter.
• Lubricate seals with Wurth Rubber Care

When your Mercedes-Benz is under warranty it is required to change Brake Fluid every 2 years as the brake system is “vented” to atmosphere. The system is not sealed tight so the hygroscopic (absorbs water) DOT 4 brake fluid becomes contaminated with water that can damage critical brake components.
Brake fluid gets dark and contaminated in the 2 years allowed.  This is very important to keep the brake system in proper working order.

Many Mercedes-Benz Vehicles have a 4 year or 40,000 mile requirement to service the transmission including filter replacement.

We also offer the BG Protection Plan and can continue this coverage if it has been started elsewhere.    Please call to schedule an appointment and we can perform a vehicle health inspection at no charge and advise on your vehicles service recommendations.

MERCEDES BENZ SERVICE-B DETAIL LIST:

• Replace windshield wiper blades and service windshield washer system.
• Remove wheels to inspect brakes and rotate tires (unless staggered), record tread depth, and correct tire pressure.
• Perform complete computer diagnostic scan.
• Replace cabin ventilation filters
• Engine oil change and oil filter replacement / Includes approved Full Synthetic Motul 8100XS oil
• Reset service system counter
• Cooling System Inspection
• Inspect front axle ball joints , bushings and links
• check steering play and power steering system.
• Inspect Poly V-Belt for condition
• Inspect starting and charging system and service battery
• Lubricate seals with Wurth Rubber Care

Engine compartment

• Change engine oil and filter with MB approved Full Synthetic oil
• Add BG MOA to the new Motul 8100XS Full Synthetic Oil
• Any of the BG services that we provide include a free Lifetime Protection Plan as long as the initial treatment/service is performed before 100,000 miles
• Fluid level checks of the following:
• Engine cooling system, antifreeze and corrosion protection
• Windshield washer system
• Check and correct battery fluid level if applicable
• Test battery condition if in engine bay.
• Check catch, safety catch and hinges on hood for proper operation.

Services performed:

Interior

• Function check
• Check warning and indicator lamps, illumination and interior lighting
• Check windshield wiper, windshield washer system, headlamp cleaning system
• Reset maintenance service counter in instrument cluster

Wheels, brakes

• Check front brake pads for lining thickness
• Check tires for damage, condition
• Correct tire inflation pressure
• Remove wheels to inspect brakes and rotate if applicable

Trunk

• Correct tire inflation pressure in spare tire
• Test battery condition if in trunk or cabin.
