Signs that your Mercedes-Benz may have a malfunctioning air conditioning system include:

  •     Your air conditioner blows only hot air from one or multiple vents.
  •     The air conditioner blows cold only sporadically.
  •     There are noises when you run your air conditioner.
  •     Musty odors coming from the vents.
  •     Temperature regulation is not in range.

Air Conditioning Service begins with our air conditioning system diagnostic test. This diagnosis includes:

  •     System Performance test.
  •     Inspection of the air conditioning compressor drive belt for cracks or damage (if applicable)
  •     A computer scan to test for proper values of the air conditioning system prior to refrigerant service.
  •     Diagnostic scan to view faults and values.
  •     Ultra-Violet leak detection to accurately pin-point refrigerant leakage.
  •     Testing lines, hoses, seals, and other system components for leaks.
  •     Hybrid Certified A/C Recovery/Charge System ensures no oil contamination will occur.

Depending on the results of the diagnosis, the system is then serviced only as required to ensure proper operation, which might include:

  •     Evacuate refrigerant from the system.
  •     Recharge the system using the appropriate refrigerant and tracer dye to precise system capacity according to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
  •     Inspect system and determine if a leak is present using Ultra-Violet leak detection for accuracy.
  •     Perform any necessary service on compressor, hoses , evaporator, condenser or electrical controls.
  •     Recheck the system to ensure proper operation and performance.
