Below you will find a brief description of what is involved in a typical Mercedes-Benz service.

Front Brake Pad Replacement

Services performed:

•     Remove worn front brake pads and install new genuine Mercedes-Benz OEM brake pads
•     Inspect brake discs for condition and wear / replace if below safety specification
•     Inspect brake calipers and lines
•     Replace brake-wear sensors.
•     Brake Fluid is due every 2 years. This is a required service when New MB’s are under the factory 4 year or 50,000 mile warranty. If it is not due or dirty then it can wait until the proper time.

Rear Brake Pad Replacement

Services performed:

•     Remove worn rear brake pads and install new genuine Mercedes-Benz brake pads
•     Inspect brake discs for condition and wear / replace if below safety specification
•     Inspect brake calipers, lines and emergency brake
•     Replace brake-wear sensors.
•     Brake Fluid is due every 2 years. This is a required service when New MB’s are under the factory 4 year or 50,000 mile warranty. If it is not due, or contaminated, then it can wait until the proper time.

Brake Fluid Flush
Services performed:

During the operation of a vehicle, the brake fluid’s boiling point is continually reduced through the absorption of atmospheric moisture. This moisture content can lead to the formation of vapor under hard braking conditions, reducing the system’s efficiency. This moisture can also “pit” and damage important brake components. Mercedes-Benz requires replacing your vehicles brake fluid every two years as the system is vented to humid conditions.

•     Flush contaminated fluid from the brake system
•     Clean the brake fluid reservoir
•     Inspect the brake system for leaks
•     Replenish the system with new Mercedes-Benz brake fluid or Super DOT 4 plus BG Fluid. (Higher moisture ability)
